Brent Smiley is the Director of Compugen Finance’s Green4Good IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Program. Brent has been in the IT industry for over 10 years and has focused on providing ITAD solutions for enterprise sized clients, both private and public sector. Brent is passionate about reducing the environmental impact IT hardware can have by closing the loop on the circular economy through responsible reuse and recycling. Green4Good is an award winning ITAD solution that provides its customers with top dollar value for trading in their End-Of-First-Life technology. That money raised is encouraged to be donated back into the community, and to date over $3.2 million dollars has been raised supporting over 165 charities across North America. The program also became the first in the world to develop the protocol to generate verified carbon credits through the refurbishment and resale of technology into the secondary markets.
